This will include completions and absorption, as well as general price ranges.
' With input from the Client, we will contact a realtor(s) and attempt to obtain Multiple
Listing Service (MLS) data to document for-sale residential market trends.
We will forecast the number of residential units by type, and square feet of retail, office,
t and industrial space that could be absorbed in the study area during the forecast period.
We will also identify areas that would be most competitive for each use, including mixed-
use opportunities, based on transportation and public utility access and physical
~ attributes of the land.
F. Advisory Committee Meeting
If the team has not already met with the Advisory Committee at kick-off, the team will
meet with the Advisory Committee. This meeting will be used to introduce the team to
the committee, and review schedule and work completed. This may be held in the
evening on the same day as scheduled stakeholder interviews (see F).
G. Stakeholder Interviews
The Consultant will conduct up to 10 interviews with key stakeholders (or stakeholder
groups) and service providers who can speak to the issues identified and share plans
and information that will have an impact on the direction of the Plan. The list of
interviewees will be determined by the Client with input from the Consultant. These
interviews are likely to include community and neighborhood leaders such as property
owners' association representatives, business leaders, developers, Cabarrus County
School District representatives, representatives of the Town of Harrisburg, County, and
State departments, committees, and other individuals whose input may expand our
knowledge of the area's most important issues. Interviews will be in-person interviews
in the Cabarrus County Government Center or similar location, which will be scheduled
by the Client over a period of two consecutive days. Some may take place the same
day on which the first community meeting is held, preferably in the conference room of
Cabarrus County Government Center or other central location provided by the Client.
Washington DC
Charlotte NC
Pinehurst NC
Asheville NC
Tampa FL
Nashvil le TN
N'1 2006\1006319tProject Mgmt\Contract17006319Cpntract Proposa1041709-final.doc Beijing PRC
Attachment number 2
G-6 Page 360 of 433
