Educational Session <br />The Consultant will conduct one educational session on sustainability and planning <br />principles with elected and appointed ofFcials. This may be open to the public, but the <br />following groups should be present: Board of County Commissioners, County P&Z <br />Board, Harrisburg Town Board, Harrisburg Planning Board, and School Board. <br />C. Advisory Committee Meetings <br />The Consultant will have up to eight meetings with the Advisory Committee. <br />D. Community Meetings <br />Community meetings shall include: <br />• First Community Meeting -Opportunities and Issues (two meetings in the study <br />area) <br />• Second Community Meeting - In conjunction with the Planning Charrette (one <br />workshop-style meeting in the study area) <br />• Third Community Meeting -Draft Plan presentation (two meetings) <br />• Open House Meetings -Additional community meetings (six) in the form of open <br />house meetings will be hosted to give citizens and other stakeholders several <br />opportunities to review information and provide feedback. These are included in the <br />scope and inserted as "optional", meaning they can be scheduled to take place at <br />another point in the process (at the Client's request). The contract fee includes these <br />six open house meetings. The Consultant assumes that there will be three types, <br />each one held in two different locations. However, additional open house meetings <br />may be conducted at the Client's request (see budgeted amount per meeting under <br />Contract Fee). <br />E. Stakeholder Meetings <br />The Consultant will conduct up 10 interviews over two days with key stakeholders (or <br />stakeholder groups) and service providers who can speak to the issues identified and <br />share plans and information that will have an impact on the direction of the Plan. A <br />maximum of 30 people will be interviewed. <br />F.
