The City of Concord will not verify the adequacy of its utility line(s) as. relating to the <br />demands of a project/development .or sewerage flow acceptance and treatment as our <br />policy places the responsibility for such upon the owner or developer as part of the utility <br />permitting process. Please note that the agreement to accept and treat any new sanitary <br />sewer discharges (a permit requirement) are two-fold; one being acceptance by the City of <br />Concord and the other being acceptance and treatment by WSACC. WSACC is an <br />· entirely separate entity from the City of Concord over which we have no direct <br />administrative or operational control. <br /> <br /> Our policy does state that the City of Concord will be responsible for the day to. day <br /> maintenance operations of its public water and sewer systems, evaluations of needs and <br /> improvements to the systems, and the funding of approved projects to the benefit of the <br /> citizens of the City of Concord and the customers of the City of Concord Water and Sewer <br /> systemsl Developments / projects will be allowed to make connection to its water and <br /> sewer infrastructure and public service will be provided to such as long as such and any <br /> subsequent water and sewer extensions are approved and permitted in accordance with. <br /> Concord Regional Water Resources Water and Sewer Policy, City of Concord Ordinances <br /> and Council Actions in effect at the time of service application, and all applicable fees are <br />. paid in full.
