Dockside Development, LLC <br /> <br />May 31, 2002 <br /> <br />Mr. Jonathan Marshall <br />Mr. Roger Lentz <br />Cabarrus County Planning Department <br /> <br />Re: <br /> <br />Letter of Appeal <br />Moorecrest Subdivision Request <br />Poplar Tent Road <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Marshall and Mr. Lentz <br /> <br />Dockside Development and the George Washington Moore Estate would like to <br />formally request that the Planning Boards recommendation to deny the <br />aforementioned subdivision request be ovenumed by the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners. <br /> <br />The physical attributes of the site plan are quite sound and were well received. <br />While as many as 131 homes are permissible, we show only 92 homes with 41% open <br />space. <br /> <br />We are sensitive to the cmxent adequate facilities ordinance relating to school <br />seating availability. In response, Dockside Development will commit to paying five <br />hundred dollars per lot towards the school related issues.
