Activities and Support Services to be Provided: All available <br /> counseling, both individual and group, as well as job readiness class will <br /> be available early in the process for this group. All available supportive <br /> services (transportation, child care, participation expenses, EA) will also <br /> be available early in the process, in order to make every attempt to <br /> increase the employability of this population. <br />· c. Who Will Provide Support Services: Employment social work and IM <br /> staff, as well as ESC, will have primary responsibihty for working with <br /> this population. When preparing the Mul~_aJ Responsibility Agreement <br /> with the family, it will have to include all supports in order to not leave <br /> "loop holes" for avoiding participation. They must be made to <br /> understand, that we will assist them in any way possible, but they must - <br /> comply as long as they receive WFFA. <br /> d. Where Will This Take Place: It will take place anywhere needed, at <br /> DSS, ESC, clients' homes, clients' places of work. Nothing can be lef~ to <br /> chance. All avenues to securing employment must be explored. <br /> e. How Will We Measure Outcomes for This Goal: This goal can be <br /> measured through the RMDS system report "DHRWFJ TWO PARENT <br /> COUNTED", which will give the total counted, the total meeting the rate, <br /> and the rate. <br /> <br />6. Avoiding Welfare Through Diversion Assistance: <br />a. How Will This Goal Be Met: This will need to be accomplished at <br /> Family and Children's Services Intake. When a client applies for WFFA, <br /> after seeing ES~ at 1 st Stop, the 13/i worker will need to immediately <br /> explore with them alternatives to applying for public assistance. This can <br /> include Diversion Assistance, where the amount of what would be up to <br /> three (3) months of their WFFA check can be diverted to them in a lump <br /> sum in order to get them out of a crisis situation. It also includes pursuing <br /> child support at the imtial intake. The option of additional money through <br /> the EA program is also available, if during the assessment, it is dete~ ,fined <br /> that the additional support would prevent an application. <br />b. Activities and Support Services to be Provided: Any activity or <br /> support service to avoid an application will be provided.
